Mooma Cider (Palau-Sator)
Who doesn't know Mooma cider from Empordà and its 100% natural apple juices? If you want to know how cider is made and learn about all the good properties of the Empordà apple, pay a visit to Mas Saulot de Mooma, in Palau-Sator, one of the most beautiful towns on the Costa Brava.
This is a guided tour, ideal to do with children, where you will learn the secrets of harvesting, fermentation, filtering, gasification and bottling. If you get hungry, you can try their products, make a pairing, or even have a meal among apple trees.
The Empordanet is the most rural and inland area of Empordà, full of beautiful towns to visit, such as: Palau-Sator, Monells, Cruïlles, Peratallada or Pals. Oil Mill (Ventalló)
Ventalló is an Empordà town, located next to Empúries, surrounded by olive trees and with a long tradition for the production of olive oil. There is the Ventalló Oil Mill that you can visit to learn in detail how the oil presses work (old and modern).
During the visit you will also learn to differentiate the types of oils and you will take a walk through the olive groves of the estate to discover all the secrets of the olive tree.

Ventalló is located in front of the Gulf of Roses, in the inland fields. We suggest that you complement your visit by making a trip to La Escala, to eat some good anchovies typical of the area. In a beautiful area of L'Escala you will find the Hotel Can Miquel, in front of the Cala Montgó beach.
Eccocivi sustainable wine cellar (Sant Martí Vell)
Are you passionate about good wine and wine tourism? Take a guided tour and tasting at Eccovici, the only winery located in the Gironès region. It is located very close to the beautiful town of Sant Martí Vell, in the middle of the area of natural interest of Les Gavarres, between Girona and La Bisbal.

Mas Marcè Farm - Ecolàctics Peralada (Siurana d'Empordà)
Mas Marcè is a Ripollesa sheep farm run by a family with more than 6 generations dedicated to the profession of shepherd. They open the doors of their farm so you can find out who they are and how they work on the farm.
During the visit you will be able to live the experience of the farm and learn how the eco-dairy products they make are made. You can also touch the smallest lambs in the pen and feed them. If you like to participate and help, they offer you the possibility of participating in a cottage cheese workshop (typical Empordà) or doing a wool workshop to live an experience even closer to the rural and livestock world.
During the visit you can also do a tasting of five cheeses, cottage cheese, yogurt, Empordà wine, water and a cut of bread with Mas Marcè oil. How hungry, right?!
Vins de Taller Winery (Siurana d'Empordà)
Next to Mas Marcè you will find its neighbors, Vins de Taller, producers of Empordà wines. They make organic and biodynamic signature wines, using organic and biodynamic agriculture. If you don't know what these terms mean, don't worry: during the guided tour they will explain what it is and why it is so essential for the environment.
Vins de Taller offer you historic experiences around their vineyards: horseback riding, picnic at your leisure, live music, walk and tasting.
They take care of the environment so that the small ecosystem of Siurana d'Empordà is a space of wide biodiversity where trees, plants, flowers, birds, bees and animals transmit their aromatic richness to the vines.

Have you ever tried rag cottage cheese with candied figs from Empordà? It is a very typical dessert of the region and the one they made at the Can Bech restaurant was particularly delicious. The success of the figs was so great that the Bech family decided to market them in glass jars and sell them to local stores and customers.
Currently, in addition to candied figs, they also make jams, jellies, sauces, chutneys and signature pairings for cheeses. You can visit their factory in Fontanilles to learn up close how their products are made.
Are you looking for a place to sleep nearby? The Hotel Picasso is located in the municipality of Torroella de Montgrí, 15 minutes by car from Can Bech. You will be very close to the Gola del Ter beach, with the Medes Islands as a background landscape, and next to the beautiful Aiguamolls de Pals. If you can't decide between taking a guided wine tour or an oil tour, don't worry: in Masetplana you will have it all! It is a reference oil mill in the Empordà and also a wine and cava winery that combines tradition and innovation, with the Empordà DO.
It is a family business with a long history in the region (since 1826). Its oils, wines and cavas have the Empordà seal. During the guided tour you will learn how they take care of the vineyards and olive trees, so typical of the Costa Brava landscape.

The Andreu brothers, in addition to producing this craft beer from Blanes, are also the organizers of the Birrasana de Blanes festival that welcomes brewers from all over the world to the Costa Brava, holding workshops, seminars and gastronomic activities around the world of craft beer.
